摘要：
Safety is a major concern as MRI scanning has become a standard diagnostic tool. Of the MRI injuries most were burns and the rest were related to implant failure or accidents. The American Society for Testing and Material has producedguidelines to show whether an implant is MRI safe, unsafe or conditional.
