摘要
A 15-inch diagonal size digital full color FLCD has been developed. It has 1024 x 768 pixels and each pixels is divided into 12 sub-pixels in order to realize 4,096 colors/pixel with the optical center of illumination maintained. Additionally using the so-called dither techniques, it has demonstrated that the 16 million different hues are achievable even with the bistable FLC.
