摘要
To make the power system more advanced and controllable, Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) devices are used. Static Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC) is a series FACTS device which can provide controllable compensating voltage over a capacitive and inductive range, independent of line current. In SSSC, voltage source converter is coupled with a transformer connected in series with a transmission line. This paper presents the investigation of control scheme of SSSC to enhance dynamic performance of transmission line. It is validated by MATLAB simulation results of SSSC operation under different load conditions.
