Metrics for evaluating enterprise systems' architecture

摘要
Various organizations are embarking on time consuming and painstaking effort to overhaul and upgrade their mission critical software systems to the enterprise level. Often, this process requires acquiring third party applications as a component or as a total solution. Major problems are encountered in evaluating and comparing various systems' architecture. This paper proposes a simple metric attached to key areas of any solid enterprise system. The metric can then be used as an aid for comparing various options.
