摘要：
One unrecorded species of genus Acantholaimus from shallow water of Jiaozhou Bay of the Yellow Sea is described as Acantholaimus brevicaudatus sp. nov. The present species is characterized by having short outer labial setae, short and stout somatic setae, conico-cylindrical tail not filiform, lateral differentiation consisting of large dots distributed of the disordered form in pharyngeal region, and two longitudinal rows of large dots in the rest body part except cylindrical portion of tail. The new species distinguishes from other congeners mainly by its short anterior sensory setae, short conico-cylindrical tail and the pattern of lateral differentiation.
