Calibration of the x-ray instruments for x-ray laser energy measurement

摘要
We report on the energy measurement of Ag soft x-ray lasers. For this puropose, we have performed the experiment of absolute sensitivity calibration a Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) detector and the throughput of the spectrometer. In order to obtain the CCD sensitivity, we used a calibrated photo-diode as a standard of the soft x-ray energy measurement. As a result of the calibration, we obtained 1.23 readout counts/incident photon as an absolute sensitivity at the Ni-like Ag x-ray laser wavelength of 13.9-nm. The maximum x-ray laser energy was measured to be similar to 300 mu J.
