摘要
Storm water retention basins fulfil an important water retention function inside the sewer system. The assessment of their performance, especially by means of hydraulic sewer modelling, requires the knowledge the basins geometry. However, the state of these infrastructures changes due to sedimentation and overgrowth, leading to a discrepancy between the design and the actual operational state. Terrestrial survey of the geometry is expensive and time-consuming. In this paper a method is described, which uses GIS-based input data to derive the required input data to implement these systems into sewer models.
