MHD RADIATIVE HEAT TRANSFER ANALYSIS OF CARREAU NANOFLUID FLOW PAST OVER A VERTICAL PLATE: A NUMERICAL STUDY

摘要
In this study, the steady magnetohydrodynamic laminar convection flow of a Carreau nanofluid with radiative heat flux past a vertical plate was numerically examined. The Buongiorno nanofluid model was employed to investigate the impact of both thermophoresis and Brownian motion. Using the similarity transformation technique, the transport equations and the respective boundary conditions were normalized, and the relevant variable and concerned similarity solutions are presented to summarize the results obtained for the transpiration parameter. The Newton-Fehlberg iteration approach was implemented for the numerical simulation of the non-dimensional nonlinear coupled ordinary differential boundary value problem. The present numerical code was validated in relation to previously published work. The numerical results for various values of the magnetic field (M), thermophoresis (N-t), Brownian motion (N-B), thermal radiation (N), Prandtl number (Pr), Weissenberg number (We), power law index (n) and Lewis number (Le) on the velocity, temperature, nanoparticle volume fraction, and heat and mass transfer rates are presented numerically and graphically. The existing modeling approach in the presence of nanoparticles enhances the performance of thermal energy thermoplastic devices.
