摘要
The sensitivity of seasonal variability of the Caspian Sea water circulation to the parametrization of vertical mixing in a hydrodynamic model is estimated. A Munk-Anderson empirical model and a 2.5-level Mellor-Yamada closure scheme are used. The results obtained by both models of vertical-mixing parametrization are consistent with observational data correlating to within the existing hydrophysical data for the Caspian Sea.
