摘要
Testing solutions for aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) are often bulky, heavy, and require self-test setups nearly as complicated as the EWIS itself. With the new generation of embedded Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) processors, along with readily available Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment, an EWIS test system can be simplified, open sourced, and has distributed architecture for ease of expansion. It is easy to customize, is lightweight, and provides significant economic advantages over current bulky commercial systems.
