摘要
Nanocrystalline zinc oxide generates much interest due to its enhanced gas-sensing abilities. The sensing mechanism is manifested by a change in electrical conductivity due to the interaction between the surface complexes and the target gas molecules. EXAFS measurements were carried out on ZnO samples with particle sizes in the range of 5-100 nm at the Zn K-edge (9659 eV) in different gaseous atmospheres to study the mechanism of gas absorption.
