Using web Services to provide a framework for knowledge analysis reuse and sharing

摘要
Knowledge engineers often unknowingly analyze a domain which. has already been looked at in a different context. Knowledge engineering is also often seen as a discrete and expert led activity. The key problem that sustains this repetition of effort and restricted participation is the lack of a standard and centralized way to communicate and share the knowledge that results from the analysis. A prototype system embodying architecture for reuse and sharing of analysis is described. Web services play a key role in the architecture and allow a certain amount of configurability to suit organizational specific needs.
