摘要
Retrieving appropriate records satisfying the customers' queries shapes the interaction between customers and suppliers in a B2C scenario. The paper presents an intelligent query system based on the Semantic Web technology; it tries to answer questions as under certain conditions which flowers are suitable as a present. We refined domain knowledge and constructed a knowledge base by the Web Ontology Language (OWL). Exploiting the knowledge base, the system performs users' queries by computing of subsumption relationship between concepts. Our initial experiments on the prototype implementation reveal a promising application of the Semantic Web technologies.
