Synthesis of 3D surfaces using the wavelet transform

摘要
The aim of this work is to construct digital elevation models using different types of wavelets. For a clear representation of the surfaces we use real and smooth models. A compression ratio has been selected as measure of performances. Experimental results are also provided.
