摘要
In this paper a vital sign measurement system is presented based on 24G frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW) radar. The radio frequency (RF) circuit is built with BGT24MTR11 operating 24-24.5G FMCW signal. However, to guarantee a sufficient frequency resolution for respiration rate (RR) and heart rate (HR) measurement most of the previous studies use long-period time windows more than 10s. This paper proposes a method based on Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), with the sample time window less than 6s. Moreover an improved DFT is used to suppress the huge computation of DFT.
