摘要
Development of using of renewable energy sources is very important objective within the European Union. EU and national energy policy treat them in priority way. In result strong development of using of renewable energy sources, especially wind power plants, takes place. The rising share of distributed generation, in assumption, should give improvement of customers' supply reliability. In the paper chosen issues concerning reliability models of generating units, reliability of wind power plants and their components were presented. In wind power plants' reliability were distinguished: technological-structural reliability, resulting from characteristics, structure and scheme of devices (components) forming wind power plant and its connection to the electric power network; productive reliability resulting from stochastic variability of generation capability in relation to wind speed.
