摘要
The development of anti-roll suspension systems is reviewed. A simplified 4 DOF rolling vibration model for a single axis suspension is founded. By using SlMULINK toolbox of MATLAB, a simulation model is also founded based on the data of a certain off-road vehicle. The dynamic responses of body rolling, in the case of the lateral acceleration step-input and the single sine-input, are simulated respectively. The influences of some suspension parameters on the dynamic response characteristics of body rolling are analyzed. The analysis results express that the increase of the stiffness of suspension or the stiffness of anti-roll bar can evidently reduce the maximum and the average of body rolling angle under the step-input, and the increase of the damping of suspension only reduce the overshoot of body rolling angle. Aim at the familiar turning condition of off-road vehicles, the method to reduce body rolling by increasing stiffness of suspension system and stiffness of anti-roll bar are feasible. To implement the change of suspension stiffness and anti-roll bar stiffness, a controllable stiffness spring scheme and a controllable stiffness anti-roll bar scheme are presented and analyzed.
