CO-AUTHORSHIP NETWORK ANALYSIS AT FACULTY OF INFORMATICS

A practical application of mathematical models is one of the biggest missions of Computer science. Thanks to growing performance of computers and increasing amount of available data which can be analysed, the complex networks analysis have been developed. It is a technique for gaining interesting information from a large quantity of data. Those information would hardly emerge otherwise. This paper describes use of complex network analysis to analyse cooperation between authors of scientific works at Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic.
