摘要
The complexity and the fragmentation of the construction industry have effectively resulted in some problems such as linear, uncoordinated and highly variable project decision-making processes in the Chinese construction industry. In this circumstance, this paper proposes an integrated decision-making process in China for sustainable development based on lifecycle management and meta-synthesis approach, which improves the customary decision-making process and considers the whole lifecycle of a construction project whilst integration its activities and stakeholders under a common framework. The entire methodology has been applied to a large-scale bridge construction in China and its effectiveness has been demonstrated.
