摘要
In this paper the authors propose a novel structure scheme for a solid-state ring laser gyroscope. The ultra-short laser pulses are used for eliminating the lock-in phenomenon in RLG. Some of its key elements have been investigated theoretically and experimentally, including solid-state laser ring cavity resonator, transmission saturable absorber and E/O phase modulator It is possible for solid-state ring laser gyroscope to become a promising optical gyroscope because of no lock-in phenomenon, its high accuracy, its miniaturization and its inexpensiveness.
