The Perfection of China's Food Safety Supervision System in the Perspective of Non Government Organization

摘要
From "Tainted Milk Scandal" to "illegal use of clenbuterol", food safety problems in China have been constantly questioned by the public. By analyzing the current situation of China's food safety supervision system and the non government organization' important role in our modern society because of its impartiality and nonprofit, this paper points out the food safety supervision system's current problems, which are the lack of related laws in this aspect, the inefficiency caused by government's regulatory fragmentation, the lack of social responsibility of food enterprises, and the difficulty of consumers' feedback respectively, suggesting the establishment of a long-term effective mechanism to insure the healthy development of China's food industry through the perfection of food safety legislation, the far-reaching integration of related supervision departments. Meanwhile, NGOs should play a bigger role in perfecting China food safety supervision system because of its unique attributions.
