Effects of Van Hove singularities on thermal properties of high-Tc superconductors

摘要
Specific heat, thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity are calculated within a phenomenological model including Van Hove singularities. Two gap symmetries are considered namely s-wave and d-wave. Comparisons with experimental data are in good agreement with the d-wave scenario. A relation between the doping level and the oxygenation rate is found. Doping effects are then considered in calculation. Quite good agreement with experimental results is found.
