Totally blind phase correction scheme for ICI self-cancellation coded OFDM systems

摘要
The performances of orthogonal frequency, division multiplexing (OFDM) systems are severely, degraded by, the intercarrier interference (10), which is caused by, the local oscillator phase noise and the time-variant channel characteristics. The previous ICI self-can cell at ion schemes significantly, reduced the ICI and outperformed other existing coding techniques but they still suffered from the phase noise. To further improve the ICI self-cancellation receivers, in this paper, we introduce a totally, blind algorithm for the phase correction. This efficient algorithm is based on the energy, modulation and the K-means clustering method. Since our new scheme doesn't depend on any, pilot information, no additional spectral efficiency, sacrifice is needed for the phase correction. Computer simulation results are presented to show that our algorithm can lead to large performance margins over all other existing methods for different channel environments.
