Die Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Luft- und Raumfahrtmedizin - DGLRM-, als wissenschaftliche Organisation, wird 60 Jahre alt. Angefangen hat das flugmedizinische Interesse viel fruher. Bereits die Gebruder Montgolfiere haben die ersten Tierversuche im Hei ss luftballon im Jahr 1783 durchgefuhrt. Das Trio, bestehend aus einem Hammel, einer Ente und einem Hahn, sollte Gefahren der Luft in der Hohe erkunden und landete wohlbehalten wieder auf der Erde.
