摘要
Characteristics of pellet fuels from several tree species in a secondary forest in Changbai Mountain were investigated and analyzed in this study. Results showed that among the seven pellet fuels corn straw pellet had the highest ash contents (11.90%), and peeled Abies holophylla pellet the lowest (0.37%). It was also found that peeled Populus simonii pellet had the largest ash-free caloric value (20896.05J/g), followed by pellet mix of Tilia amurensis, Tilia mandshurica, and Betula platyphylla (20885.15J/g). Ash-free calorific value of peeled Betula platyphylla pellet was larger than that of the unpeeled. Ash-free calorific value of wood pellet was larger than that of straw pellet. Among the wood pellet fuels, mixed wood pellet had the best axial pressure-resistance performance with an axial load 0.2355 kN, followed by peeled Abies holophylla pellet with an axial load 0.2149 kN, and unpeeled Betula platyphylla pellet was better than the peeled in this aspect. Unpeeled Betula platyphylla pellet had the best radial pressure-resistance performance with a radial load 0.6402 kN, followed by mixed wood pellet with a radial load 0.6242 kN.
