An exact finite strain semi-analytical solution for the short-term ground response curve of circular tunnels in a modified Cam-clay material

摘要
The instantaneous response of a saturated low-permeability ground to tunnel excavation is characterized by zero volume change, since there is no time for the water to flow, and it is important for deformations and stability close to the tunnel face. The current paper presents an exact finite strain analytical solution for the short-term ground characteristic line based on the modified Cam-clay model. The solution is applied to the breccia zones of the Gibraltar Strait tunnel and is found to agree perfectly with finite element analysis results.
