Impact of Public Procurement on Selected Financial Ratios of ICT Companies in the Czech Republic

摘要：
The paper examines the profitability and financial ratios of companies operating in the ICT market in the Czech Republic, depending on being awarded public contracts or not. Using data of 40 companies (divided into two groups of twenty with and without public contracts), selected financial ratios are analyzed. Subsequently, using quantitative methods, the relationship between financial ratios and indicators related to public procurement is explored. The results obtained indicate that there exist differences between financial ratios among analyzed sets of companies. On the other hand, tests revealed statistically significant correlation only among some financial ratios and public procurement characteristics.
