A revision of the green stink bug tribe Pentatomini Leach (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae: Pentatominae) from Indo-Pakistan subcontinent with special reference to their cladistics

The green stink bug tribe Pentatomini Leach comprising Acrosternum Fieber, Bathycoelia Amyot and Serville, Glaucias Kirkaldy, Nezara Amyot and Serville, Piezodorus Fieber and Rhaphigaster Laporte known from different parts of the world including Indo-Pakistan subcontinent as the pests of cereals, legumes and vegetables are presently keyed and described with special reference to their genitalia; Three exotic genera Chinavia Orian, Grazia Rolston and Pausias Jakovlev, the type and other species of which have been assigned to the above genera in the past are also included. Chinavia is considered distinct from Acrosternum and Grazia and Pausias distinct from Piezodorus. Based on the above characters, a cladistic analysis of the above nine genera has been carried out and a cladogram is presented and discussed.
