摘要
Antenna designers often install antennas on a platform that results in a particular radiation pattern. The developed process uses characteristic mode theory to identify likely radiation patterns. It then uses the characteristic mode analysis and the impedance matrix to identify the feed location and antenna element structure that will result in the desired radiation pattern.
