摘要：
This paper explores the challenges that have been faced to date in the creation of an Integrated Digital Hospital, using examples from real-world implementations around the globe and will demonstrate specific business savings which can be achieved. It will also explore some of the methods which can be used to effectively integrate data from different systems to deliver a methodology for a unified electronic health information exchange.
