摘要：
According national and international regulations dams shall be operated in such a way as to prevent harm to people, environment and property sustained over the whole lifetime. Hence an effective Dam Safety Management System (DSMS) shall be integrated into the operational processes. Furthermore operators of an international hydro asset portfolio are faced with different legal and regulatory frameworks and standards. Due to this fact Uniper as an European operator of 225 water retaining structures and dams developed a Dam Safety Policy to implement a uniform DSMS across all Uniper hydro countries.
