摘要
The objective of this article is to find an appropriate method for recovering the waste heat energy of steam power plant, as well as to use the gas pressure loss in the natural Gas Pressure Reducing Station (GPRS). Currently, high pressure fuel (natural gas) is delivered to power plants through main transport lines. The natural gas pressure is reduced through GPRS, and in many cases, energy is spent to reheat the natural gas prior to use at the combustion turbine. There are different ways to recover energy and prevent fuel consumption for preheating. For example an expansion turbine can be installed instead of pressure reducing valve at GPRS through which a considerable power can be obtained. The computer program developed in this study can determine enthalphy differential and consequently output of expansion turbine.
