摘要
In order to research the hydro chemical and isotopic characteristics of shallow groundwater in northwest of Suzhou. 13 representative samples were collected and tested from the densely inhabited district. Statistical analysis, Piper diagram, Gibbs diagram, ion ratio and isotope techniques were used to analyze the samples. The results indicate that the cation is dominated by Na+, while the anion is dominated by HCO3-. All the water samples are weakly alkaline and low salinity. The leading hydro chemical type is HCO3-Ca.Mg type. The chemical composition are mainly derived from the dissolution of halite, gypsum, silicate, carbonate minerals and cation exchange. The recharging of shallow groundwater is mainly derived from atmospheric precipitation with the intense existence of evaporation. The outcomes of this research will provide theoretical basis for regional ecological environment and water resources protection.
