摘要
The authors endeavor to highlight certain aspects connected to satisfaction with the career social work students from Babe'-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca and social pedagogy students from the Eszterhazy Karo ly College in Eger prepare for. The goal of the study is to harness the experience the students have gained over the course of their internships during their three years of college, which lays the foundations of their professional careers. The main goal is to present a comparison of the assessments made by the students from the two universities regarding the perception of the profession they have chosen. The study presents a comparison of the data regarding the extent that Cluj and Eger students were satisfied with the training they have received at graduate level, as well as their perceptions about their career prospects. We wish to highlight the measure in which the theoretical and practical training provided by the curricula correspond to what is demanded for practicing in this social field. Theoretical and practical skills shall be assessed by graduate students based on their experience during their internships -field work - over the course of their years of study. We shall also refer to the satisfaction the future professionals in this social field have with choosing these helper professions, as well as the sense offulfillment in their lives. The second goal is to create - based on information received from students - a skill-based training model that would take into account the demands offield work. We shall be focusing on the analysis of the skills necessary for planning and carrying out social interventions and the capacity for professional communication; thus, it shall only target the theoretical model of relationship counseling, an integral part of social work. The study is constructed around three major topics: 1. Aspects regarding the perception of a career as a helper in the two disparate social and geographical environments 2. Comparative analysis of the congruity between the students' training and the stringent demands offield work 3. A skill-based training model in the case of relationship counseling.
