Sexual activities in persons with spinal cord lesion in Kuwait

Thirty-seven persons with spinal cord injury filled up a multiple choice questionnaire helped by one of the authors to achieve accurate answers. OF the sample 81.1% reported dissatisfaction with their sexual life. Loss of orgasm, failure to ejaculate, impaired erection and severe physical disability to practice sex were the main causes of dissatisfaction. 62.2% answered that they were engaged at least in one way or other sexual activities. Provision of sexual counselling, education, training, medication, and other modalities are mandatory in rehabilitation of SCI.
