摘要：

Several focus groups were conducted by a consortium of colleges in three rural counties in a mid-Atlantic state to determine the viability of developing curricula in cybersecurity and information assurance. Given the state's proximity to the nation's. capitol, it should not be surprising that security issues in general had become a priority since 9/11/01. The consortium's lead institution submitted a grant proposal to fund an investigation into the needs of employers in their region. The project was funded with interesting results.
