摘要：

This article analyses, a propos the Chilean Conservative Thought by Cristi y Ruiz, the relationship between history of ideas and political philosophy. In addition, the text draws the attention about the presuppositions that underlie in the thesis according to which the conservative thought had an performative effect in the chilean political culture.
