The standard enthalpies of formation of crystalline glycyl-L-asparagine and its aqueous solutions

摘要
The energy of combustion of glycyl-1-asparagine was measured in a bomb calorimeter in oxygen. The standard enthalpies of combustion and formation of crystalline glycyl-1-asparagine were calculated. The heats of solution of the crystalline dipeptide in water and in a solution of potassium hydroxide were measured at 298. 15 R by a direct calorimetric method. The standard enthalpies of formation of glycyl-1-asparagine and the products of its dissociation in aqueous solutions were calculated.
