摘要
In order to improve treatment efficiency of wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in wet weather condition, dynamic effects of wet weather on biological treatment process was studied with the integrated simulation. The sewer model was established to simulate the distribution of runoff flow and pollutant concentrations in a rainfall event in the study area served by Wuzhong WWTP. The WWTP model was calibrated and validated with the historical and measured data on the BioWin software. Lower soluble and readily biodegradable fractions, higher particular fractions during the wet weather were presented in the influent. Six different return period storms were designed to simulate water quantity and quality of the study area. The results showed wet weather events changed the characteristics of the biological solids inventory and its location, meanwhile it can reduce the removal efficiency of biological treatment process. Finally, operational strategies of WWTP during wet weather events were evaluated and provided.
