摘要
The paper deals with the application of ionic liquid's (ILs) as solvents and as reaction media. us, namely 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate, 1-butyl-2,3-methylimidazolium chloride and 1-allyl-2,3-dimethylimidazoliumbromide, dissolve cellulose and can easily be applied as media for cellulose functionalization. We investigated the homogeneous acylation of cellulose with a degree of polymerization the range from 330 to 6500. Under mild conditions and within short reaction time, at low temperature and low molar ratio, different cellulose esters and dendronized cellulose were obtained.
