摘要
The paper presents a method for parametric description of ship hull block structure. The parameters are geometrical and techology-related. Data are collected for flat and semi-spatial hull sections. Sections have been grouped by types, being similar geometrically but not identical. Also the similarity of technological processes has been used as a grouping criterion for sections. Additionally, it is recommended to collect the values of deviations obtained on prefabricated sections. The aims of data collection are specified before it is commenced. The obtained parameters are placed in a database. Planning and design works on hull block prefabrication process for newbuilt ships may be conducted on the basis of collected parameters. The labour intensity, technology, minimisation of construction costs and the expected values of deformations can be determined among other parameters. The database is going to be specific for the shipyard collecting it. It is deeply dependent on the concrete types of ships built, their sizes and hull block divisions. The collected data creates a definition space of prefabricated sections.
