Multimedia caching integration for efficient content delivery over heterogeneous networks

摘要
This paper presents an approach to the management and provisioning of end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) in next generation networks (IP and non-IP networks) that is being developed in the IST ENTHRONE1 project. We present an overview of the Multimedia caching and its integration with different approaches for the efficient contents delivery across heterogeneous networks. In particular, we enlighten edge and data casting techniques with proper deployment at router/gateway and/or terminals in content delivery networks architecture.
