摘要：
A comprehensive numerical model developed for the analysis of near-net-shape continuous casting processes was implemented in a generalized coordinate form and solves for turbulent heat and momentum transport along with solidification in the cast. The model is used to investigate the influence of 3D heat transfer conditions upon solidification.
