摘要
The detailed structure of Ba3Y2(BO3) 4 crystal was discussed. These crystals were obtained by the Czochralski method. The basic structure of this crystal is composed of three sets Y(Ba)O8 distorted polyhedrons and three sets BO3 planar triangles. The magnitude of the temperature factors and valency charge equilibrium after least squares refinement indicated disorder at Ba and Y sites. Each Y(Ba) is coordinated by eight oxygen atoms to form a distorted polyhedron with the average Y(Ba)-O distance of 2.337 Å.
