Chances and threats created for Poland by global economy

The article considers the theoretical grounds for evaluation of international competitiveness of the national economy and the sources of the competitiveness in the light of the international trade theory. Special attention is paid to Poland participation in the international labour distribution and its competitiveness on the markets of the European Union countries, Russia and Ukraine; the advantages of Poland international cooperation intensification determinant are defined.
