Development and application of optimum open-pit limits software for the combined mining of surface and underground

摘要
In order to rationally determine the open-pit mining boundary in the combined mining of surface and underground, this paper discusses some problems of the optimum pit-limit in combined mining and analyses the usability of moving cone method for combined mining. Based on moving cone and economic mathematics models, a software block of combined mining pit optimization for DM&MCAD system is developed. It has proved to be rather effective in practice for TongLuShan Copper Mine.
