Comparison between analytical methods for organic carbon and organic matter determination in sandy spodosols of France

摘要：
On samples from sandy soils of French Gascony (spodosols), we compared results from analytical determination of organic carbon (C) by wet and dry combustion and of organic matter (OM) by loss-on-ignition at 550 degrees C. Results demonstrated that wet digestion systematically underestimated C content. Loss-on-ignition an wet digestion measurements were well correlated to C content obtained by dry combustion.
