Inhomogeneous radiative model of refractive and dispersive semi-transparent stellar atmospheres

摘要
A time-independent radiative model for the inhomogeneous semi-transparent stellar atmospheres is developed taking into account a continuous variation of both the refractive index and the absorption coefficient. The medium considered is supposed to have an internal space-dependent energy source and a purely reflective boundary illuminated by an external flux. The integral forms of the radiative transfer equation with any spatially continuous refractive index and any phase function are derived from its integro-differential form.
