摘要
Structural changes are a significant factor in economic growth. During structural changes, there is a shift in the sectoral structure of total production. This corresponds to employment shifts in the sectors. We analyze the data for the years 2009 -2016. The share of employment in individual sectors is a typical example of composite data. Composite data is a special type of multidimensional data because it only carries relative information. Due to the collinearity of the employment share in each sector, we use a special prognosis procedure for composite data. The share of employment in individual sectors is characterized by descriptive characteristics of composite data. In the contribution we are focusing on forecasting and analysis of employment in Slovakia in individual sectors. The forecast is up to 2020. Structure change rate analysis allows us to characterize adaptability to changes in aggregate demand. The rate of structural change is measured by the Lilien indicator, which is based on the employment assessment. We used the CoDaPack software.
