摘要
Mass customization is becoming one of the mainstream production modes for the manufacturing industry in the 21(st) century. The reorganization of enterprises is necessary to mass customization. A virtual enterprise is composed of functional units with individual core competitiveness. Virtual enterprise mode will further respective comparative advantage and total scale economy advantage of its members so as to enhance the competitiveness of products for mass customization. Analyzes the features of virtual enterprise for mass customization as well as cooperation relationship among members; discusses the requirement to members and some issues about B2B and B2C E-Commerce in a virtual enterprise for mass customization. A conception of virtual enterprise for mass customization is described theoretically.
